Location: Agreed base of work, with a requirement for national travel
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile national capability that directly underpins UK resilience.
In accordance with the agreement between the National Resilience (NR) Lead Authority and DEFRA, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Flood Rescue capability supporting the delivery of assurance of maintenance of competence and capability development and co-ordination of Flood Rescue Response assets.
The secondment offers valuable exposure to national-level emergency preparedness, training, and assurance, working alongside a wide range of multi-agency partners and stakeholders. It provides a strong platform for developing strategic insight, influencing national outcomes, and shaping future capability.
