The Group Manager Control plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the effective delivery, performance and continuous improvement of the Fire Control function. The postholder provides direction, assurance and professional oversight to maintain a high quality emergency call handling and mobilising service that supports community safety and operational response.
Responsible for Fire Control and Time & Resource Management activities, crucial to the role will be your ability to lead collaborative approaches with partners in order to deliver an integrated and high performing service – ensuring operational resourcing is efficient and highly effective.
As Group Manager Control you will:

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must be competent in the Station Manager Control (Leading the Function) role.
Candidates who are not currently employed by a Local Authority Fire & Rescue Service within the UK will not be eligible to apply.
Candidates who have a live/unspent disciplinary sanction or who are currently working under any capability (performance) related improvement note/plan will not be eligible to apply.
