  • Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice

    Salary, National Minimum Wage (dependant on age)

     24 months contract – 35 hours per week

    Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification while developing practical skills in a professional public-service environment that makes a real difference to local communities.

    You will support the People and Organisational Development team, working alongside experienced colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support including data entry and document management
    • Assist with handling correspondence, emails, and telephone enquiries
    • Support meeting administration, including agendas, minutes, and room bookings
    • Maintain accurate records and databases in line with data protection requirements
    • Assist with basic finance, HR, or procurement tasks where required
    • Work collaboratively with teams across the Service

    What We’re Looking For

    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
    • Good organisational and time-management skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
