There are 2 fixed term opportunities. One is for 4 months and the other is for 7 months. One of these posts will be based on the Wirral.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support young people and develop their personal skills within MFRS Youth Engagement Programmes.
Other responsibilities include:
Support in developing the personal skills of the young people and improve their personal development.
Support Individual Learning Plans and liaise with Team Leaders.
Support students with basic skills when required by learners.
Applicants must have experience of working with young people/young adults in various settings and the ability to relate and empathise with their needs. In addition, the ability to liaise and coordinate with partnerships in the community to assist the course leader with student recruitment. To be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work in a collaborative way with colleagues and other organisations.
