  • Fire Cadet Unit Leader

     

    Grade 6 £2,375 - £2,577

    3 hours per week, Term Time only

    Any additional work will be voluntary however training and similar will be paid

    Based in St Helens

    7-month Fixed Term contract – please note the Fire Cadet Leader role is a rolling 12 month contract April – March.

     The main aspect of this role is to plan, manage and deliver the objectives of the Fire Cadet programme and to supervise and support Fire Cadets & Volunteer Instructors.

    Other duties include ensuring full compliance with the Fire Cadet Policy and National Fire Cadet Framework; plan and manage the delivery of relevant qualifications and the associated administration and undertake risk assessments together with the monitoring of all health and safety matters.

    Applicants must have experience of working within communities in Merseyside and be willing to engage and make a difference to children & young people lives.  A knowledge of legislation regarding health and safety and safeguarding would be advantageous in this role.
