  • Procurement Lead – Capability Assets’ Managed Service (CAMS) Contract

     

    This is a new and exciting role within the Procurement team. The Procurement Lead is responsible for the renewal of the Capability Assets’ Managed Service (CAMS) contract, formerly known as the Long-Term Capability Management (LTCM) Managed Service Contract. The post will last for up to 6 months after contract start to ensure a smooth transition and the contract commencement is due October 2028.

     

    The role will involve preparing a detailed plan to procure the CAMS contract, to include identified resources and an initial period to transition from the existing contract and mobilisation of the new contract.  In addition to preparation of all relevant  tender documentation for the competitive exercise including the invitation to tender and the model services contract template. The post holder will also manage relationships with key stakeholders and manage any potential risks.

     

    Candidates must be members of CIPS ideally, or be suitably experienced, have extensive contract management experience, and have strong commercial awareness.
